Assistant Food & Beverage ManagerThe Assistant Food & Beverage Manager position is responsible for assisting the Food & Beverage Manager during all events at the theatre while delivering the highest caliber of customer service to guests.Must have experience working in a large volume theatre, music venue, or arenaMust present themselves in a positive and professional manner to all teammates, staff, and guestsAbility to work in a high volume, customer service driven environmentAbility to handle customer inquiries and complaintsAbility to direct and assign tasks to F&B staff during set up, break down, and during all events in the theatreAssists bartenders with ID checksAssists bartenders with POS troubleshootingHelps to direct flow of patrons: to bar locations, assists with merchandise line, and coat checkAssists with inventory management and trackingAssists F&B Manager with nightly close outs of POS systemChecks that all staff side work has been completedAdheres to the theatre's Food & Beverage policies as outlined in our handbookOther administrative tasks as assignedKnowledge and experience working as an Assistant Manager within a large Theatre or high volume F&B environment, music venue, arenaMust be receptive to working in inclement weather and extreme temperaturesAvailable to work a flexible schedule, including evening, weekend and Holiday hoursWork successfully in a fast paced and loud environmentAble to lift and carry 25 lbsRequired to stand for long periods of time; ability to bend, lift, and walk up and down stairsExcellent verbal and communication skillsStrong spirit of optimism, collaboration & flexibilityBasset CertifiedExperience with POS systemsExperience with leading and directing a team of 20
