Embark on a rewarding opportunity as a Sign Language Interpreter serving K-12 students throughout the 2026-2027 academic year. Four skilled interpreters are sought to work onsite to support students across two locations.

What You'll Bring:

• Valid State of Oregon Sign Language Interpreter Certification/Licensure
• Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) with demonstrated interpreting skills
• Previous experience interpreting within educational settings preferred
• Capacity to work effectively with children and youth from kindergarten through twelfth grade
• Strong commitment to confidentiality, equal access, and student advocacy
• Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Provide in-person ASL interpretation for students, staff, and families for classroom instruction and school activities
• Facilitate clear and accurate communication within academic and extracurricular settings
• Work collaboratively with teachers, special education teams, and other staff to adapt interpreting to varied learning environments
• Serve as a communication bridge, ensuring students’ full participation in their educational programs
• Support documentation requirements as directed by school staff
• Uphold integrity and professionalism, adhering to ethical standards of interpreting practice
• Engage in ongoing professional development as required
