The QA team works daily to understand our customer's needs, and then uses that understanding to ensure that all deliveries not only exceed our customers' expectations, but also meet our own high standards of software quality and exceptional user-experience.At OCLC, QA is involved in the entire project process: monitoring and improving the process, making sure that any agreed-upon standards and procedures are followed, and ensuring that problems are found and dealt with. It's all oriented to prevention.Summary: Serve as a strategic quality leader, define long-term testing vision, and establish organizational quality standards. Drive innovation and influence architectural decisions. Lead the practical adoption and scaling of AI assisted testing techniques, including AI generated test cases, intelligent test selection, and failure analysis. Identify where AI meaningfully improves speed, coverage, and signal quality, and where human judgment remains essential. Define guardrails and best practices for responsible, explainable AI usage in QA workflowsResponsibilities:Lead initiatives to improve scalability and maintainability of test frameworksLeverage AI-powered testing tools to automate test case generation, maintain self-healing automation scripts, and perform predictive analysis to identify high-risk areas in the code.Define organizational quality standards and measurable attributesLead innovation in testing strategies and automation practicesCollaborate with senior leadership on roadmaps and best practicesChampion early QA involvement and drive quality cultureDefine and monitor quality KPIs across projectsConduct risk-based testing and prioritize efforts based on business impactRepresent QA in cross-functional planning and architecture discussionsQualifications:Bachelor's degree in CS or related field10+ years of QA/testing experienceProven leadership in quality initiatives and strategic planningExperienced in AI-powered quality assurance methods like automated test creation and visual regression testing to accelerate and enhance release accuracy.Technical Focus:Expertise in automation frameworks, CI/CD platforms, multiple programming languages, and emerging testing technologies.Required Skills: Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber/Gherkin, JUnit, TestNG, Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, Git, Java, SQL, Postman, REST AssuredDesired Skills: Selenium Grid, Cypress, Playwright, Python, JavaScript, Ruby, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, GitHub, AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, KubernetesWorking Conditions: Normal office environment.
