Sign On Bonus: $10,000.00 paid after 90 days of employment Factory Location: Hollis, ME Compensation: $41.89 / Hour at time of hire with $0.50 increments after 90 and 180 days upon successful review Shift differential: 6%-8% of base hourly rate for applicable hours worked Schedule: 2/2/3 schedule, 5:00 pm - 5:00 am. Candidates must be able to train on 1st shift for approximately 3 months before moving to their assigned schedule. Repair and improve equipment, from minor rebuilds to major overhauls. Identify processing waste reduction opportunities and assist in reduction projects. Participate in preventative maintenance program to reduce operation costs. Dismantle, clean, repair, and test electrical, electronic, and mechanical components to determine component-level failure. Support equipment installations, retrofits, and upgrades, including vendors and contractors. Communicate, coach, and train employees to continuously improve response to equipment failures and loss of production. Actively support NCE through SLC DOR, DER, GSTD’s – DMAIC projects and Debriefs or shift handoffs. Maintain preventative maintenance logs and accurate records of all testing and repairs. Recommend equipment for preventative maintenance programs and perform tasks to identify mechanical and electrical issues. Rebuild worn-out but reusable equipment components, such as gearboxes for scheduled PM’s. Troubleshoot, investigate, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and utility systems including chillers and air compressors, using Breakdown Analysis. Communicate directly with equipment suppliers, contractors, and vendors as necessary. Areas of responsibility include production support, mechanical room, water processing, boiler room, wastewater treatment, and water chemical treatment program. Qualifications Three or more years proven maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience with high- and low-pressure compressors, chillers, water treatment, and boilers. Strong technical knowledge of compressed air systems (pneumatics), electrical systems, hydraulics, and water processing. Knowledge of bottling equipment, PM programs, and SAP system. Strong mechanical abilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interaction with all employees. Electrical knowledge of single and three-phase power; ability to diagnose and replace electric motors. Ability to work and accomplish projects with minimal supervision. Ability to foster and build a teamwork environment. Effective communication with support groups, supervisors, and team members. Maintain high professional and organizational ethics and image with all plant and outside personnel. Ability to read, interpret, and analyze computer-generated reports. Perform all tasks with extreme accuracy. Physical capability for inspections (climbing, reaching, extending). Proficiency with mechanical drawings and OEM technical prints for parts identification. Proficient computer navigation skills, including Microsoft Office. Availability for call-ins or to cover all shifts as required. Works with Safety department to achieve zero-injury workplace. Positive mental attitude, open to a fast-paced evolving environment. Ability to pass a Ramsay aptitude test. Strong English skills for communication with customers and team members.
