Your Role in the Community

• Conducting thorough patient evaluations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and crafting patient-centered care plans
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions in tandem with physicians or autonomously based on your credentials
• Instructing patients and their families on prevention, wellness, and effective disease management
• Prescribing medications and therapies according to your practice scope
• Engaging in patient follow-up and comprehensive chronic care management
• Partnering with multidisciplinary teams to promote cohesive, holistic patient care
• Documenting meticulously and accurately within electronic medical records (EMR)

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of a nationally accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Essential Certifications

• Valid Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Florida
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or equivalent specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to acquire within 90 days)
