As part of TCEQ Compliance and Enforcement, you would help ensure that those we regulate comply with the state's environmental laws. This position is a member of our Waco Regional Office.

Here's what you'll be doing:

• Manages and communicates information regarding compliance and enforcement activities for the region's Air and Waste Program.
• Coordinates, schedules, monitors, and communicates information regarding the progress of the region's Air Program.
• Completes personnel management functions, which includes interviewing, hiring, and developing staff, performance management, etc.
• Advises the Regional Director of significant program issues.
• Provides outreach and technical assistance to the general public, regulated community, media, and government officials.
• Provides technical and programmatic input for regulation development.

Key qualifications:

• Experience supervising technical groups.
• Required education and experience: Experience in the management of a business function, division, or department relevant to assignment. OR Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major course work in a field relevant to assignment.

Work Schedule: Standard business hours are M-F, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Individual and work group schedule determined by the TCEQ Waco Regional Office.
