Assistant Controller

Ferreri Search is partnering with a growing organization to identify an Assistant Controller for a key position within its accounting leadership team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting professional who has worked in a complex, multi-entity environment and is ready to take on broader responsibility and increased exposure to senior leadership. The ideal candidate will have aspirations of becoming a Controller in the near future. What You’ll Do Support month-end close and consolidated financial reporting Manage and review intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and eliminations Support multi-entity consolidations and financial statement preparation Partner with accounting leadership on reporting, controls, and process improvement Support external audit activities Assist with accounting integrations and organizational growth initiatives Help improve and automate accounting processes Work across multiple business units and legal entities What We’re Looking For Progressive corporate accounting experience Strong multi-entity accounting and consolidation experience Hands‑on experience with intercompany accounting and eliminations Strong month-end close and financial reporting background Experience with payroll-intensive or high-volume accounting environments is highly valued Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls ERP experience; Microsoft Dynamics 365 / Business Central experience is a plus Ability to work effectively in a growing, evolving accounting environment Candidates coming from staffing, workforce solutions, payroll/HCM, business services, or similarly complex multi-entity environments may be particularly well aligned.
