Job Details Job Location: ALM-Baton Rouge LA Corps - Baton Rouge, LA 70805 Position Type: Full Time Regular Education Level: High School Diploma/GED Salary Range: $15.50 Hourly Job Category: Housing This position is responsible for: Key Responsibilities Orients new residents to the program and prepares intake records to facilitate case management; records daily statistics; collects, receipts and processes service fee payments. Assists residents with locating affordable housing; provides appropriate referrals to other social service agencies in the community as needed. Supervises and participates in the cleaning and maintenance of facilities, supplies and equipment; inspects facility on a routine basis to ensure compliance with established standards. Physical Requirements and Working Conditions Knowledge of household management techniques Ability to prepare and process records and statistics in an accurate and complete manner. Ability to supervise resident activities to ensure facility is properly maintained and secured in accordance with established policies and procedures. Ability to meet attendance requirements. Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language. Ability to perform mathematical calculations. Limited amount of physical effort required associated with walking, standing, lifting and carrying light objects (less than 25 lbs.). Work is performed in a normal lodging environment where there are little of no physical discomforts associated with changes in weather or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like.
