RESPONSIBILITIES:

\n Perform a variety of maintenance tasks to diagnose, repair, rebuild, replace mechanical, electrical, PLC, hydraulic and pneumatic systems on all plant equipment and facilities.

\n Use maintenance knowledge to increase productivity, decrease downtime and waste. \n

 

\n

Work with a sense of urgency to respond to machine downtime events.

\n

 

\n

Will be required to complete in-house training programs to develop equipment specific maintenance skills.  The position may also require attendance at external training that may require occasional overnight travel.

\n Must be able to follow all safety and company policies, including lock-out tag-out procedures. 

\n

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: 

\n At least 5 years of experience successfully troubleshooting and repairing industrial manufacturing equipment. \n

 

\n

Must have knowledge and experience with repairing and maintaining mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, PLC systems and industrial equipment.

\n Be passionate about maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

\n Ability to work any shift, overtime, and weekends as needed. \n

 

\n

Must have own basic tools (PCA will provide specialized tools).

\n

 

\n

Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

\n

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

\n Technical degree and/or 5 years of experience in successfully troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery and equipment within the corrugated packaging industry.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

\n Excellent communication skills. \n

 

\n

Basic computer skills.

\n Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. \n

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

\n

• Starting salary for position: $28.83 - 36.89 per hour. DOE
\n
• Bonus: Annual – Based upon achievement of plant performance metrics. 
\n
• Paid Vacation: Beginning at 1 week per 6 months worked.
\n
• Stipend for safety shoes and glasses.  Uniforms provided.
\n
