Key Responsibilities of the Operating Room Registered Nurse

• Provide perioperative care for surgical patients
• Assist in surgical procedures including laparoscopy, robotic, and neuro surgeries
• Maintain a sterile field and ensure equipment is set up properly
• Monitor patient vital signs and communicate any issues to the surgical team
• Document patient care in the Meditech system

Requirements of the Operating Room Registered Nurse

• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
• Proven OR experience or StarRN
