Dental Hygienist Regular Duties
- Perform Routine dental hygiene & periodontal treatment procedures.
- Assist clinical team where needed with typical procedures such as taking X-rays, administering local anesthetic (where legally and licensed to perform), charting, intra oral photos, and assisting with any other clinical procedures up to their legal ability.
- Assisting with setup, breakdown, maintenance, clean-up, proper sterilization or other preparation of hygiene rooms and equipment & instruments daily.
- Take notes while doctor is doing exam.
- Enter treatment into patient’s chart.
- Give any new needed treatment to the front ASAP.
- Post & complete procedures on appointment.
- Schedule patient’s next recare appointment.
- Write notes in the needed treatment diagnosed during the exam.

Registered Dental Hygienist

What do Dental Hygienists do? Dental Hygienist duties revolve around conducting initial patient screenings, cleaning teeth (e.g. removing plaque) and advising patients on oral health and preventative care. You’ll help dentists decide treatments for teeth or gum diseases and handle dental emergencies.
As a Dental Hygienist, you should be reliable and able to build trust with patients of all ages. You should have deep knowledge of relevant health and safety rules and a good eye for oral diseases and anomalies. If you have a steady hand and great bedside manner, we’d like to meet you.

full-time $60 - $70 per hour
