(USA) Member Team Lead

Position Summary... What you'll do includes assisting management with the supervision of associates in the assigned area of responsibility by assigning duties to associates, communicating goals and feedback, training associates on processes and procedures, and providing direction and guidance to associates on member service approaches and techniques to ensure member complaints and issues are resolved according to company guidelines. You will support the Open Door Policy, participate in recruiting, hiring, scheduling, promoting, coaching, and evaluating associates, communicate and support membership by providing information on membership types, programs and benefits to current and prospective members, process memberships upgrades and credit accounts, encourage membership renewals, participate in sales and marketing events, complete and maintain marketing recaps and other required documentation, strive to meet membership goals, and promote the value of Sam's Club products and services. In addition, you will provide and ensure member service by acknowledging the member, identifying member needs, assisting members with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, providing guidance and support to members regarding self‑service technology, assisting members with transactions utilizing registers or self‑checkout area, and ensuring club pick‑up orders are filled. You will oversee your area, handle claims and returns, zone the area, arrange and organize merchandise, identify shrink and damages, maintain availability of carts and flatbeds, assist members with transporting items utilizing cart retrieval equipment, and maintain parking lot cleanliness. You will complete accounting records, file transactions, and other required documentation, provide funds for proper register operation, create and interpret financial analysis reports, assist with accounting‑related investigations, prepare daily deposits, oversee Cash Fund Transfers, investigate overages and shortages in cash register drawers and accounting office, and maintain confidentiality and accuracy of financial and personal information. You will develop, communicate, and implement processes and practices to meet business needs by collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and other business partners, analyzing and applying information from multiple sources, monitoring progress and results, and identifying and addressing improvement opportunities. You will demonstrate and support compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity, assist management with correcting ethical and compliance issues and problems, lead and participate in teams by using and sharing resources, information and tools, determine customer needs and business priorities, coordinate and execute work assignments, provide advice, feedback, and support to ensure timelines and work quality are achieved, model and help others adapt to change or new challenges, respect individuals by embracing differences, build strong relationships, communicate with impact and energy, mentor others, hold oneself and others accountable, support Walmart's goal of becoming a regenerative company, act with integrity, serve customers and members, deliver results while putting the customer first, and strive for excellence. #J-18808-Ljbffr
