Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Lead Cook to join our culinary team. The Lead Cook is responsible for overseeing daily kitchen operations, ensuring food quality and consistency, maintaining sanitation standards, and supporting the training and supervision of kitchen staff. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
• Lead and support kitchen staff during food preparation and service.
• Ensure food quality, presentation, and portion control standards are met.
• Assist with scheduling, training, and mentoring kitchen team members.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies.
• Maintain compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
• Ensure kitchen equipment is properly used, cleaned, and maintained.
• Coordinate with management to support efficient kitchen operations.
• Assist with menu development and special events as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of professional cooking experience.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
