Job Summary:
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) in West Burlington, Iowa. The position involves delivering high-quality care to adult, geriatric, and Medical/Surgical patients, with a focus on telemetry monitoring. The traveler will be responsible for self-studying telemetry strips upon acceptance, with a basic dysrhythmia test-out administered during the first week, which must be passed to continue working on the telemetry/med surg unit. The role requires interaction with patients, their families, and the health care team, ensuring adherence to professional standards.

Job Details:

• Shift Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications:
  Certifications: ACLS; EPIC EMR experience in a similar unit within the last 12 months.
  Education: Not specified; experience baseline of at least 1 year.
  Location: West Burlington, Iowa.
  Experience: 1 year minimum.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  Telemetry experience; critical care experience; floating to CCU if applicable.
• Float: Float rotation may be required to non-critical care inpatient units, including Emergency Department if boarded patients are present. Floating to CCU may be possible for those with critical care background.
• Additional Information:
  The traveler will be responsible for self-studying telemetry strips and passing a dysrhythmia test during the first week. The unit has telemetry ratios of 1:4 on days and 1:5 on nights; Medical/Surgical ratios of 1:5 on days and 1:6 on nights. The role includes every other weekend rotation. The start date for this assignment is 09/14/2026.
