Qualifications:

• Valid EIPA score of 3.5 or higher (required)
• Certification as a Sign Language Interpreter
• Experience in school settings or with K-12 students preferred
• Ability to foster communication in classroom and specialized learning environments

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct sign language interpretation for a 5th-grade student within a Life Skills room
• Foster inclusion and communication in educational and social activities
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to support individualized learning goals
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
• Fulfill a Monday–Friday, 7:20 am–2:10 pm schedule during the academic year (August 19, 2026 – June 2, 2027)
