Job Summary As Operations Technician III, you’ll perform a variety of tasks, including reading and interpreting drawings, supporting pipeline operations, safely maintaining facility equipment and analyzing data to resolve technical and operational problems. Knowledge of permits and compliance, accurate record‑keeping and a focus on safety will bring success in this role. Responsibilities Safely maintain equipment and support pipeline operations by reading and interpreting drawings. Inspect, supervise equipment and maintain operation/technical standards and/or governmental requirements. Analyse data and collaborate with others to find solutions to technical or operational problems. Follow all company policies and apply appropriate operating and maintenance procedures. Acquire knowledge of and adhere to requirements for safe and efficient operation of facilities, execution of tasks, protection of community, personnel, environment, and assets. Maintain general knowledge of site/location/equipment/specific permits and compliance. Complete assigned reports, logs and maintain accurate records of process operations and performance of preventative maintenance on equipment. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. Minimum three (3) years of demonstrated ability as an operations technician or similar role. Associate’s or 2‑year technical degree preferred. Minimum two (2) years of multifaceted operations technician experience in the oil and gas industry preferred. Physical and Environmental Work Requirements Work in extreme temperatures, with loud noises and in enclosed spaces. Carry or lift items up to 50lbs and team‑lift loads of more than 50lbs as needed. Stand, walk, climb, bend, stoop, and squat, often for long periods of time. Work at elevated levels, potentially from man lifts, ladders, scaffolding, and/or small towers, with appropriate personal protective equipment. Use hand tools. Shift, Work Hours and Travel Requirements Available to work after hours, on‑call rotations, nights, weekend shifts and holidays as the need arises. May be required to work overtime, 10‑12 hour shifts and travel between Williams locations with occasional overnight stays. Other Requirements Must possess a valid State Driver’s License and a clean driving record. Demonstrate aptitude and ability to embrace technology and applications to drive operational efficiency and streamline processes. Demonstrate excellent organizational, interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and PC skills.
