Job Summary
The Emergency Room (ER) Nurse - Specialty - Location provides critical care to adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics within a short-term acute care facility. This role involves floating between units at a Level II Trauma Center, supporting stroke, STEMI, trauma, and other urgent medical conditions, while ensuring patient safety and quality care standards.

Job Details

• Position Description: BLOCK 1ST TIMER - ER RN - Req 10893. The role involves floating between units based on staffing needs; no on-call required.
• Required Qualifications: Emergency Room (ER) specialty, minimum of 2 years of experience, ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS certifications, current state license (compact license accepted), and at least 1 year of recent clinical experience.
• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shift hours, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with trauma levels I or II, community hospital setting, ET or major trauma experience, and travel experience.
• Additional Information: Candidates must be comfortable managing ventilated patients, central line care/management, and stroke care protocols. Must have current certifications and meet all specified clinical skills requirements.
• Submittal Requirements: Candidates should confirm prior experience at Providence facilities, provide 2 references from within the last 3 years, and be prepared to work holiday shifts.
