Position Summary:

The Customer Service Demand Coordinator supports customer demand, order management, and delivery requirements by analyzing forecasts, maintaining accurate ERP information, and coordinating with Planning, Operations, Sales, and Supply Chain.  This position also supports customer portals, RFQs, RMAs, and customer inquiries while proactively addressing protentional supply and delivery issues.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze customer forecasts to identify changes in demand, quantities, and required delivery dates.
• Compare customer forecasts against current orders and demand loaded in the ERP system.
• Update customer orders, quantities, and required dates in the system to maintain alignment with the latest customer forecast and authorized requirements.
• Identify significant forecast increases, decreases, pull-ins, push-outs, and cancellations and communicate these changes to Planning and Operations.
• Work closely with Planning and Operations to evaluate product availability, production schedules, capacity constraints, and achievable delivery dates.
• Maintain customer portals, including forecast information, order acknowledgments, delivery commitments, and other required customer information.
• Monitor customer requirements and proactively identify potential delivery or supply issues.
• Support customer Requests for Quotation (RFQs), including coordination with Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, and other internal teams as required.
• Coordinate and process Return Material Authorizations (RMAs) and follow them through resolution.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding order status, delivery dates, pricing, availability, and other account-related matters.
• Support regular customer and internal demand-review meetings by preparing forecasts, backlogs, and order-status information.
• Provide proactive customer service and maintain strong communication with assigned customer accounts.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to review customer demand, forecasts, and order data.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the ability to work with data and identify discrepancies or changes.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and changing customer requirements.
• Ability to work effectively with Planning, Operations, Supply Chain, Sales, and customers.
• Ability to learn and effectively use ERP/MRP systems and customer portals.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining effective communication with cross-functional teams.
• Must be able to work with ITAR data without a license. 

Education, Experience and Training:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business, supply chain, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service, order management, demand planning, inside sales, supply chain, or a related field.
• Experience working with ERP/MRP systems and customer portals preferred.
