Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Chemotherapy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: State or Compact license required Certifications: BLS, Chemotherapy (ONS/ONCC) Must-Have: Travel experience preferred Previous charge experience preferred Description: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a chemotherapy setting is required. Travel experience in a similar role is preferred. Certifications required include BLS and Chemotherapy certification. Familiarity with charting in Epic is necessary. Experience managing and administering chemotherapy and immunotherapy is essential. Candidates should be proficient in accessing and managing ports. Knowledge of managing side effects and patient education is crucial. Staff will provide care to patients with various cancer diagnoses as well as hematology conditions. Teamwork and interdisciplinary collaboration with social services and pharmacy will be expected. Patient ratios during the day shift are typically 8:1. All applicants must meet compliance and onboarding requirements prior to starting.
