You will typically work a standard 40-hour week, with occasional weekend shifts required, contributing to a dynamic and engaging work atmosphere.Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Physical Therapist at Carle Physical Therapy, your daily tasks will include:Conducting thorough evaluations and assessments of patients' physical capabilities and limitations.Developing personalized treatment plans that address individual patient needs.Implementing therapeutic interventions and regular progress evaluations to adjust treatment plans as necessary.Engaging with patients, families, and caregivers to educate them on treatment processes and progress.Maintaining accurate documentation of patient treatments and progress, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and professional standards.Collaborating actively with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care throughout the treatment process.Supervising and mentoring support staff, including physiotherapist assistants and interns, to foster their professional development.Participating in quality improvement initiatives and community outreach programs to promote health and wellness.Patient Population / Client FocusYou will primarily be working with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Your role will involve understanding the unique needs of diverse patient populations, catering to all age groups and cultural backgrounds. Effective communication and relationship-building skills will be essential in fostering trust and cooperation with patients as they embark on their rehabilitation journeys.QualificationsTo be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications:A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.A valid State License in Physical Therapy and BLS certification.Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in patient documentation and electronic health records.Strong organizational and time management capabilities to manage multiple cases efficiently.Preferred ExperienceWhile a minimum of two years of clinical experience in the field is required, we highly value candidates who have:Previous experience in an orthopedic rehabilitation setting.Proficiency in utilizing advanced physical therapy modalities and rehabilitation technologies.A history of involvement in community outreach or educational initiatives related to physical therapy.Compensation and BenefitsWe offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 – 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
