Job Details

• Fully Remote
• Pay Rate: $22.00 per hour
• Start Date: November 16, 2026
• Seasonal Assignment: Approximately 5 months with potential for extension

What You'll Do

• Provide first-level technical support for tax and accounting software products
• Assist customers via phone and email
• Troubleshoot software and system-related issues
• Document customer interactions in a ticketing system
• Escalate complex issues when needed
• Maintain excellent customer service and professionalism
• Collaborate with team members to resolve customer concerns

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Minimum 6 months of customer service, call center, help desk, or technical support experience
• Minimum 6 months of computer troubleshooting experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Comfortable assisting customers over the phone
• Basic computer and Microsoft Office skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Professional attitude and strong work ethic

Preferred Experience

• Ticketing or support desk systems
• Software support experience
• SQL knowledge
• CCH ProSystem fx or CCH Axcess Tax experience

Schedule

• Paid Training: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM 6:00 PM ET for 3 weeks
• After Training: 8-hour shifts between 10:00 AM 7:00 PM ET
• Weekend availability required during peak season (January-March)

Home Office & Equipment Requirements

• Candidates must provide and use their own laptop or desktop computer for this position.
• The computer must meet all required system specifications, including Windows 11 (Version 24H2).
• Candidates must have a reliable high-speed internet connection with a wired Ethernet connection.
• A cell phone is required for multi-factor authentication.
• A headset is required for customer calls.
• Minimum 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage
• MacBooks and Chromebooks are not compatible with the required software and cannot be used.
