The Purpose of Your Role
As part of the Operations team, the Operations Business Analyst is responsible for contributing to the delivery of quality products to customers by understanding product strategy, operations and customer needs, developing business cases, defining business requirements, and supporting product development and deployment, assisting in oversight of corporate action processing, documenting and maintaining procedures.

Ability to analyze business systems and processes to identify user needs, document requirements, and address operational/process issues to accomplish business objectives. Demonstrated experience in translating business requirements to technical resources (internal and external). Strong analytical and problem solving skills, attention to detail, ability to work independently. Strong communication, presentation and active listening skills are essential to success. Strong leadership qualities, ability to influence and champion ideas effectively across multiple and diverse groups. Ability to work effectively with unstructured teams or environments through strong presentation and facilitation skills. Ability to work in a fast paced, team oriented, collaborative environment.
The Value You Deliver
Participate in multiple phases of the development lifecycle, from the initial analysis and business requirements definition through business acceptance testing and production implementation. Work directly with the Product Owner, Operations Manager and Team to ensure projects are implemented accurately, on time, and on budget. Understand Operations issues, define creative solutions and document detailed business requirements for operations enhancements, efficiencies and client-related requests. Utilizing corporate actions and SWIFT knowledge, partner with members from across Operations, Product, and Technology to determine project tasks, Operation impacts, estimates, deadlines, deliverables and interdependencies. Partner with the Technology team to ensure a common understanding of requirements and acceptance criteria. Ensure operations readiness for new enhancements, provide training, maintain Processing Procedures, Processing Guide and Training Manual. Determine Operations acceptance test strategy, prepare and execute test cases as needed. Partner with Operations processing teams to ensure SLAs are met with high level of quality and efficiency.
