Cycle Counter / Inventory Control Associate

CoWorx Staffing Services has an immediate temp-to-hire Cycle Counter / Inventory Control Associate opening with a fantastic, employee-focused client in the Jessup, PA area! We're looking for a detail-oriented Cycle Counter / Inventory Control Associate to help keep our warehouse inventory accurate, organized, and audit-ready. In this role, you'll perform routine cycle counts, investigate variances, and partner with Inventory Control and Operations to resolve discrepancies. You'll use RF scanning equipment and the warehouse management system (WMS) to validate item numbers, lot codes, expiration dates, and pallet/location informationhelping ensure product is available when customers need it.

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily/weekly cycle counts using RF scanners and WMS tools.
• Research and document discrepancies (overages, shortages, mis-slots, and data issues) and recommend corrective actions.
• Partner with Inventory Control and Warehouse Operations to resolve variances and prevent repeat issues.
• Identify and report damaged product, labeling issues, or location errors; initiate rework/relocation as needed.
• Support inventory accuracy initiatives including slot audits, location clean-up, and process adherence.
• Operate material handling equipment safely (e.g., high reach forklift, order picker) as required.
• Follow all safety policies, GMP/quality requirements (if applicable), and standard operating procedures.

Desired Background/Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in a warehouse, inventory control, cycle counting, or related role.
• Ability to use RF scanners and work within a warehouse management system (WMS).
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment including high reach forklifts and order pickers (training/certification may be provided based on-site requirements).
• Strong attention to detail, accurate data entry, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment and communicating findings clearly to others.
• Experience with cycle count programs and root-cause investigation.
• Forklift/order picker certification.
• Experience handling lot-controlled and/or date-controlled inventory.
• Familiarity with inventory accuracy metrics (e.g., location accuracy, record accuracy) and continuous improvement.

Schedule and Pay:

Schedule: MondayFriday, 7:00am3:30pm

Pay rate: $20.00/hour
