Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

• Valid certification as a School Psychologist or eligibility to obtain it in California
• Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology or a related field
• Experience with assessments, counseling, and intervention services within a school setting
• Proficient in conducting Individualized Education Program (IEP) evaluations
• Ability to interpret educational assessments and communicate findings effectively
• Strong organizational skills with a collaborative spirit
• Compassionate, student-centered approach

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychoeducational assessments and interpret results for students referred for evaluation
• Participate in the development and review of IEPs, providing insights into students’ needs
• Offer counseling and crisis intervention as appropriate for individual students or groups
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to design and implement effective interventions
• Support the development of behavior management or mental health plans
• Maintain accurate records and adhere to compliance standards
• Provide consultation and training for school staff on topics related to learning, behavior, and mental health
