Security Officer

Security OfficerTo be fully engaged in providing Uncompromised Safety, Superior Quality, Memorable Patient/Customer Experiences, and Financial Stewardship by leading the work of the security team on assigned shift with effective communication, use of resources and problem-solving to ensure the safety and security of associates, patients, and visitors of Health First facilities.Responsibilities include supervision of officers, assisting with timekeeping, deterring criminal activity, conducting security patrols, sounding alarms, permitting authorized persons to enter property, conducting patient escorts, maintaining required certifications, and performing other related duties as assigned.Minimum qualifications include education or experience in police/corrections academy, criminal justice, military service, law enforcement, or security officer experience. Licensure and certifications required include Class D or G Security Officer Licensure in Florida, valid driver’s license, and American Heart Association CPR/First Aid certification.Preferred qualifications include one year of security supervisor or management experience.Physical requirements include agility, heavy lifting, exposure to various environments, and operating equipment.About Health First: At Health First, diversity and inclusion are essential for our continued growth and evolution.
