Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) degree, active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license, and 1+ years Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current Arizona COTA license
• Possess an active (IVP) Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Previous experience working in schools or with pediatric populations is highly valued
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Positive, proactive approach to working with students, staff, and families

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students as prescribed by Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) or 504 plans
• Document interventions and maintain accurate, timely records in compliance with school and state requirements
• Collaborate closely with occupational therapists, special education teams, teachers, and families to support student goals
• Assist with screenings, assessments, and the development of occupational therapy plans
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute input to support student progress
• Engage students in activities that foster independence, improve fine motor skills, and enhance academic participation
