This candidate must be able to foster teamwork and the ability to skillfully navigate a variety of personalities. We are looking to hire someone who holds themselves to a high standard of excellence and finds fulfillment and motivation in hospitality and creating an elevated guest experience. Key Responsibilities Greet guests promptly and courteously as they arrive. Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently. Escort guests to tables and provide menus. Ensure servers are notified of the arrival of new guests in their section. Maintain a clean and organized host stand and dining area. Provide guests with accurate wait times and assist with seating arrangements. Handle guest inquiries and respond to special requests politely. Coordinate with service staff to ensure smooth guest flow. Assist in maintaining the restaurant’s overall cleanliness and ambiance. Upsell or promote restaurant specials when appropriate. Address and resolve guest concerns professionally to ensure guest satisfaction. Have a basic understanding of the food, cocktail, and by the glass offerings. Qualifications Previous experience in guest service or hospitality. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and remain composed in a high volume environment. Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor. Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
