Emergency Room Registered Nurse - Nights

Schedule

Nights: 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each, plus 2 call shifts.

Job Description

The Emergency Room Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive care in the Emergency Department, responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and coordinating patient care from admission to discharge. The nurse will utilize established protocols of Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), and Certified Emergency Nursing (CEN) to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans.
• Implement and coordinate patient care activities in the Emergency Department.
• Utilize advanced life support protocols during emergencies.
• Document all interventions and patient responses in accordance with standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license in the state of Colorado.
• Experience in Critical Access Hospitals preferred.
• ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ATLS certifications preferred.
• Previous Emergency Department experience strongly desired.
