Meador an Openwork Company is currently engaged in a search to find a direct hire Accounting & Audit Manager for a company located in the Clear Lake area. This role will be responsible not only for managing accounting operations but also serving as the primary liaison with external auditors. The selected candidate will be expected to coordinate all audit-related activities, facilitate communication between internal stakeholders and auditors, and ensure that all required documentation and supporting information are prepared and available in a timely manner.

As the Accounting & Audit Manager you will:

• Overseeing day-to-day accounting functions and financial reporting.
• Acting as the main point of contact for external auditors during audits.
• Coordinating audit requests and ensuring timely responses.
• Working across departments to ensure all financial records, schedules, and supporting documentation are complete and audit-ready.
• Assisting with the preparation of annual financial statements and audit deliverables.
• Identifying and addressing accounting or compliance issues prior to the audit process.

What youll need:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting REQUIRED
• 5+ years of accounting experience REQUIRED
• Prior management and supervisory experience

Salary:

• Salary: $120K-$140K
