Test Equipment Testability Engineer II

Overview The Test Solutions (TS) Effectors team is a multi‑discipline organization responsible for developing production and engineering test solutions for all Raytheon products. The Testability Engineering team requires an Electrical Engineer who will assist with test requirements, master test lists, and testability analyses for a range of products from component cards to full missiles. Responsibilities Develop test processes, requirements, functional decompositions, interface modeling, and embedded/built‑in test recommendations. Evaluate schematics and system testability to provide design and test recommendations for fault isolation and test access. Collaborate across engineering teams to define, design, and document Test Environment (TEn) capabilities and requirements, ensuring prime hardware is testable at different levels. Manage schedules and resources to meet assigned milestones. Qualifications – Required Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. Minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience in test systems requirements definition. Experience working with the test equipment development process from project start‑up through verification and validation. Qualifications – Preferred Electrical or Computer Engineering degree or background. Experience with Systems Engineering views such as Block Definition Diagrams, Context Diagrams, and Sequence Diagrams. Working knowledge of test systems design, development, integration, and verification across the product lifecycle. Experience performing testability analysis on circuit cards and assemblies. Experience with the DSI eXpress Testability modeling software. Familiarity with common electrical test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, spectrum analyzers). Previous testing/troubleshooting of circuit cards or other electronics. Benefits Salary range: $68,900 USD – $131,100 USD (based on experience). Health insurance (medical, dental, vision).
