2026 Fulltime Raytheon Software Engineer II - Test Equipment - Onsite

Job Summary Location: Tucson, AZ (1151EHermansRd,BLDG801). Position: On-site software engineer in the Test Equipment Engineering (TEE) team, part of the Hardware Discipline Center at Raytheon. Security Clearance: Active Secret DoD clearance required before start (U.S. citizenship required). Responsibilities Design, develop, and integrate object-oriented software applications in C#, C++ using Microsoft Visual Studio on Windows Operating System. Prioritize and handle multiple software engineering tasks concurrently. Troubleshoot software and test equipment instrumentation. Develop and derive requirements for software products. Contribute to multidisciplinary engineering teams and support all phases of the product lifecycle, from early engineering tests to production and post-production sustainment. Qualifications Master’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM). 12 months or less of professional experience (excluding internships). Experience developing software in C++, C#, Java, Python, or Visual Basic. Experience with Windows Operating System and Microsoft Visual Studio. Knowledge of debugging tools and troubleshooting software implementation. Knowledge of TCP/IP or UDP and common hardware interfaces. Knowledge of software development lifecycles (Waterfall, Agile). Knowledge of Software Configuration Management principles. Desired cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. Benefits and Compensation Salary range: $68,900 – $131,100 USD.
