- Safely operate counter‑balance forklift and reach truck for loading, unloading, put‑away, order picking and pallet movement.
- Complete pallet wrapping (shrink wrap) after sorting and scanning, stage pallets in assigned locations.
- Perform pre‑shift forklift inspection and log checks; report any mechanical faults, damage or safety concerns immediately.
- Follow warehouse instructions from the site lead, maintain neat aisles and keep loading dock and work area tidy.
- Assist with general warehouse labour as required: sorting, repackaging, moving inventory and housekeeping.
- Adhere to all WSIB, OHSA and company safety policies; wear required PPE at all times.
- Maintain accuracy during PDA scanning to avoid inventory discrepancies.
- Experience: Valid Powered Lift Truck Operator Certification (Forklift Ticket) for counterbalance and reach truck; minimum 1+ year warehouse forklift operating experience.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiar with container unloading, pallet building, PDA scanning and standard warehouse workflows.
- Safety: Strong safety awareness; understands load weight limits, load stability and dock safety rules.
- Technical Skills: Able to use warehouse PDA scanner; basic computer literacy preferred.
- Core Competencies: Reliable, physically fit, able to work in fast‑paced warehouse environment, good teamwork and communication.
- Language Requirements: English; Mandarin is an asset.
