To meet increased client demand and ensure timely, high-quality tax filings.You'll work directly with firm partners and senior CPAs to support year-end bookkeeping, monthly closes, and individual and business tax return preparation. Ideal for professionals who want flexibility and the ability to contribute meaningful work in a remote capacity.Key responsibilities include preparing and reviewing individual, partnership, and corporate tax returns (1040, 1065, 1120, 1120S), performing monthly reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting, communicating with clients and internal teams to ensure timely tax filings, utilizing accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or similar), and maintaining high attention to detail under tight deadlines.Qualifications include 2+ years in public accounting or tax preparation (required), CPA designation or progress toward CPA is a strong plus, strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and tax code, ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines, strong communication skills, and proficiency in cloud-based accounting platforms.
