Corporate Accountant with CPA License

To support multi-branch operations, the remote Corporate Accountant with CPA License will manage the general ledger, month-end close, and financial reporting while integrating new acquisitions and enhancing accounting processes. Key responsibilities Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and ad hoc financial reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness Drive the monthly general ledger close process, including account reconciliations and journal entry preparation Evaluate accounting systems and procedures; recommend and implement improvements to strengthen internal controls and increase efficiency Required qualifications Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a multi-branch/multi-division organization Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required CPA or active pursuit of CPA licensure preferred Advanced Excel skills and experience with Microsoft Office suite Experience with accounting software such as NetSuite, Avalara, Sage 100, QuickBooks, and Salesforce is a plus Virtual Vocations Inc
