Corporate Accountant - Onsite

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Corporate Accountant onsite in NYC. This is an exceptional opportunity to transition directly out of public accounting into the private sector for a merger/integration focused firm. Responsibilities:
- Accountant will lead month-end and year-end close process for multiple entity locations, ensuring timely reconciliations of all accounts, (balance sheet, income statement, multiple banks, etc.)
- Perform detailed account reconciliations, including cash-flow, and other treasury-related accounts
- Prepare variance analysis, including detailed management reports
- Support process controls and efficiency initiatives
- As an Accountant, you will work with internal teams to ensure financial controls and compliance
- Assist with audit preparation and provide support to external auditors
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- Parts passed or certified CPA
- 2 years of public accounting experience
- 5 days in office
