About the Role

The Company is in search of a Vice President of Accounting to take the helm of its accounting and financial reporting function. This senior finance leader will be tasked with ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial information, supporting strategic decision-making, and driving operational execution. The role is pivotal in a multi-site manufacturing environment, where the focus is on high-quality product delivery, operational efficiency, and financial performance. The successful candidate will lead all accounting functions, from general ledger to consolidations, and will be responsible for the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes in compliance with GAAP. Key responsibilities for the Vice President of Accounting at the company include overseeing financial reporting, variance analysis, and performance metrics to provide insights to executive leadership. The role also involves partnering with operations on manufacturing finance activities, establishing and maintaining internal controls, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, with a CPA strongly preferred, and at least 12-15 years of progressive accounting experience, particularly in manufacturing or industrial settings. Deep expertise in cost accounting, financial reporting, inventory management, and internal controls is essential, as is experience in managing teams and building scalable processes in complex organizations. The role requires a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach, strong analytical skills, and the ability to influence senior leadership, as well as advanced proficiency in ERP systems.
