We believe in the importance of in-office collaboration and fully intend for the selected candidate for this role to work on site in the specified location(s).As a Senior Data Engineer supporting the Cloud Data Platform, you will play a critical role in shaping scalable, high-performing data solutions that enable business intelligence and strategic decision-making across the organization. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering modern data pipelines and cloud-based data architectures that support batch, near real-time, and real-time data processing. You will partner closely with business stakeholders to translate strategic objectives into technical solutions, collaborating with architects to define architecture patterns that meet both functional and non-functional requirements.You will evaluate and introduce new tools and technologies, lead proof-of-concept efforts, and recommend improvements to enhance the enterprise data ecosystem. Working cross-functionally with engineering teams, product vendors, and global delivery partners, you will ensure the stability, scalability, and performance of data platforms while proactively addressing delivery risks and implementing solutions to maintain momentum.In this role, you will contribute to planning, estimation, and prioritization of technical initiatives while establishing standards, best practices, and governance for data engineering and development processes. You will drive data modeling, ETL development, performance tuning, and system optimization efforts, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and development methodologies. As a senior contributor, you will mentor team members, provide hands-on technical leadership, and foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and innovation.
