A locally owned and nationally recognized Printing, Signage, and Marketing Services company in the Sir Speedy, Santa Monica, CA is looking for an experienced Bindery Operator. We work with a dynamic and exciting client base ranging from Museums and Non-Profits to Manufacturing, Real Estate, Contractors, and Construction. With the tools and technologies provided, we focus on putting our energy toward creating a remarkably unparalleled experience for each and every customer. This is where our Production Team comes in!

You will be responsible for setting up and operating equipment as well as assisting in other tasks to do with mail production. Our Bindery Operator works closely with customers and our sales team, providing support with the goal of increasing sales and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include:

• Perform bindery function as noted on work orders/job tickets. This may include: folding, cutting, padding, numbering, GBC punching, spiral or coil binding, fastback, collating, scoring, perforating, drilling, stitching or stapling, laminating and wrapping.
• Establish priorities by dates on work orders/job tickets and when necessary, priorities set by management.
• Package jobs, complete job tickets/work orders and delivery receipts as necessary, and place them in designated areas.
• Arrange for delivery or shipping of items as needed using the shipper designated on the work order/job ticket.
• Pull control file copy of work order/job ticket for delivered jobs daily and process remaining documents.
• Keep equipment clean, lubricated, and operable.
• Order supplies required using proper procedures.

Skills we are looking for:

• Minimum of six months in a production-type workplace.
• A willingness to be proactive and take action.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal & written).
• Team player that can work with others to deliver a project on time.

Compensation: $18.00 per hour
