Senior Software Engineer - US Risk Technology - Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce

Gravity Engineering Services Pvt Ltd.

Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain high‑performance microservice applications supporting US risk analytics and reporting. Collaborate with product owners, data scientists, and risk analysts to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Implement CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployments using Docker and AWS services. Ensure code quality, reliability, and security through automated testing, code reviews, and adherence to best practices. Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance, including Kafka streaming pipelines and database interactions. Requirements 5+ years of professional software development experience, primarily with Java and Spring Boot. Strong understanding of microservice architecture, RESTful APIs, and event‑driven messaging (Kafka). Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (AWS), containerization (Docker), and CI/CD tooling. Proficiency in relational databases and SQL; familiarity with performance tuning.
