Clinical Support Associate

The Clinical Support Associate performs various general clerical, communicative, and support services tasks to nursing, medical, and other staff members on the nursing unit.
Qualifications:
- H.S diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- 1-2 years of related/clerical experience required
- Familiarity with medical terminology required
Work Schedule: 24 hours/week-Evening shift (3:00pm -11:30pm), rotating weekends and holidays
Gaylord nursing units offer a variety of skills such as:
- Milne Units: Step down/progressive care unit of level of care includes:
- Continuous telemetry monitoring
- Ventilator support and weaning
- LVAD patient population
- Heart transplant population
- Lyman 1 & Hooker 1: Medical units offer skills such as:
- Stroke
- Complex wounds
- Telemetry
- Pulmonary care
- Lyman 2 & Hooker 2: Specialty units are CARF accredited with a focused patient population:
- Traumatic brain injury
- Stroke
- Spinal cord injury
