Supply Technician

This position performs limited aspects of technical supply management work (e.g., inventory management, storage management, cataloging, and property utilization) related to depot, local, or other supply activities. Work usually is segregated by commodity area or function, and controlled in terms of difficulty, complexity, or responsibility. Assignments usually relate to stable or standardized segments of technical supply management operations; or to functions or subjects that are narrow in scope or limited in difficulty. The work generally involves individual case problems or supply actions. This work requires consideration of program requirements together with specific variations in or from standardized guidelines. Assignments require: (a) a good working knowledge of the governing supply systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals, or other established guidelines; (b) an understanding of the needs of the organization serviced; and (c) analytical ability to define or recognize the dimension of the problems involved, to collect the necessary data to establish the facts, and take or recommend action based upon application or interpretation of established guidelines. Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required High school degree or equivalent. Three (3) years of material/supply functions, in the military services or in commercial applications. Knowledgeable of governing supply systems/programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals or other established guidelines. Analytical ability to define problems, collect necessary data, establish facts, and to take recommended action based upon applicable established guidelines. Possess a valid driver's license and be able to obtain a government driving permit. Position may require travel. Position may require the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance. Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization. Note: US Citizenship is required for facility credentials/authorization at this work location. Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands Typical warehouse environment with no unusual hazards, frequent lifting to 20-60 pounds, kneeling, standing, and walking, routinely sitting and constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, constant mental alertness, must possess planning/organizing skills, and must be able to work under deadlines. Compensation & Benefits HIRING HOURLY Rate of Pay: $36.56 (Hourly rate set by CBA) In accordance with the established Collective Bargaining Agreement, the hourly wage for this position is as follows: Current: $36.56 On or around 6/1/2027: $37.66 This position includes a competitive benefits package, to include: Paid vacation. Annual allotment in the form of a biweekly accrual as follows: 80 hours for 0-5 years of service, 120 hours for 5-10 years of service, 160 hours for 10+ years of service. 401k 11 Paid holidays annually (prorated dependent on hire date) Other Responsibilities Safety Amentum enforces a safety culture whereby all employees have the responsibility for continuously developing and maintaining a safe work environment.
