Make a meaningful impact as a speech-language pathologist working within a supportive educational setting for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time contract opportunity runs from August 2026 through June 2027, offering you the chance to guide K-12 students toward greater communication independence and personal growth. Two dynamic SLPs are invited to join a collaborative environment focused on individualized care and innovative solutions tailored to students’ unique needs.

You’ll work closely with a manageable caseload—typically 10 or fewer students—many diagnosed with autism and requiring AAC (augmentative and alternative communication) devices. Your expertise will play a pivotal role in helping these students achieve their communication goals.

Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid state licensure or eligibility as an SLP, ASHA CCC certification required
• Experience supporting K-12 students in school-based settings preferred
• Proficiency in evaluating and implementing AAC tools for students with complex communication needs
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, families, and administrators

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and deliver evidence-based speech and language interventions
• Develop and maintain Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and document student progress
• Implement and oversee AAC device usage for students as needed
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, special educators, and families to foster holistic support plans
• Attend school meetings and contribute to a positive, inclusive school culture
