MEP Project Manager – Healthcare Construction (HCAI) Location: Stockton, CA (Hybrid) Salary: Up to $185,000 An established and rapidly growing construction consulting firm is seeking an experienced MEP Project Manager to oversee mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for complex healthcare construction projects throughout California. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with HCAI (formerly OSHPD) experience who thrives in technically challenging hospital environments and enjoys managing multiple high-impact projects from planning through commissioning. This role will partner with healthcare facility teams, design consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders to ensure MEP systems are delivered safely, efficiently, and in compliance with California healthcare construction requirements. Key Responsibilities Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of multiple healthcare MEP projects, including scope development, budgeting, scheduling, and stakeholder communication. Review design documents, BIM coordination, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and construction activities to ensure quality, constructability, and regulatory compliance. Coordinate commissioning, startup activities, facility tie-ins, inspections, operator training, and project closeout documentation. Collaborate with facility operations, engineering teams, contractors, and HCAI representatives to successfully deliver upgrades and infrastructure improvements within active hospital environments. Qualifications Minimum 5+ years of HCAI (OSHPD) healthcare construction experience managing MEP systems. 8+ years of project management, construction management, engineering, or related experience with strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing building systems. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline preferred; CCM, PMP, PE, AIA, or LEED credentials are a plus. Strong experience managing project scope, budgets, schedules, value engineering, commissioning, and cross-functional teams in complex healthcare facilities.
