Staffing Scheduler

Westbury Center of McDonough for Nursing and Healing is now hiring a Staffing Scheduler!

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Nursing Home Scheduler to join our team at Westbury Center of McDonough for Nursing and Healing. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for scheduling Nursing Shifts and Transportation for our residents. Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain staff schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels
• Track attendance, monitor lateness and absences, and provide reports to management
• Provide accurate and timely reports to the DON, Facility Administrator, and management on issues relating to staffing, vacancies, and agency use
• Maintain timely records of call-offs, tardies, and early arrivals, and coordinate with HR to ensure attendance policies are administered promptly and fairly
• Create and post monthly staff schedules
• Track and post changes and approve trades in the absence of the DON or as delegated by the DON
• Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders

Requirements:

• Experience with Microsoft Office Products
• Team Player
• CNA preferred but not required
• Some experience as a scheduler is preferred
