Become a part of our MN and WI team as aGAS METER TECHNICIAN!Q3 Contracting is seeking Gas Meter Technicians to support various territories in Minnesota and Wisconsin. In this role, the Gas Meter Technician will focus on troubleshooting, ensuring compliance with safety standards, providing customer consultations, and generating detailed service field reports.This position offers competitive pay and provides opportunities to work across diverse locations in Minnesota and Wisconsin.Responsibilities:Travel within Minnesota and WisconsinTroubleshoot and diagnose gas system issuesEnsure gas systems and operations meet all compliance standards, regulations, and safety protocols.Provide consultation with customers on gas-related matters, offering expert advice to ensure safety and efficiency.Generate detailed and accurate service field reports, documenting inspections, troubleshooting activities, and resolutions.Conduct inspections of gas systems and infrastructure to assess performance, identify potential issues, and ensure operational integrity.Work closely with utility company personnel and other contractors to maintain consistent service quality and safety standards.Respond to customer inquiries and assist in problem resolution, ensuring high levels of customer satisfactionQualifications:High School diploma or equivalent.Basic knowledge of hand and power toolsMust possess a valid driver’s license with no restrictionsWillingness to use basic mobile apps to help complete tasksWilling to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and other safety regulations.Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, (as needed) for customer consultations or troubleshooting emergencies.Ability to communicate politely and clearly with customers during service visitsAbility to stand for extended periods of timeAbility to lift up to 50 lbs.Work in heat, cold, wind, and rainAbility to travel (some overnight) throughout MN and WIQ3 Contracting is a drug-free environment, and all candidates are subject to drug testing.Benefits:Highly competitive, union wages paid weekly.Outstanding, paid-on-the-job training.Union benefits offeringsAward winning safety programs.Growth Opportunities.Compensation: $30.04/hr.EEO Statement:We are an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.Third Party Agency Notice:Primoris will not accept any unsolicited resumes from any third-party recruiting agencies either domestic or international.
