Your Key Responsibilities
- Utilize advanced radiographic and CT techniques to produce high-quality imaging for clinical assessments
- Engage collaboratively with radiologists and the healthcare team to contribute to accurate diagnostic processes
- Meticulously position patients and adjust imaging equipment for optimal results
- Adhere to strict radiation safety protocols to protect patients and staff
- Keep thorough records including imaging logs and equipment servicing
- Deliver empathetic patient care throughout the imaging experience
- Help maintain a safe, efficient, and organized imaging setting
Educational Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology is essential; a Bachelor's Degree is advantageous
- Completion of an accredited radiology program
Certifications Needed
- ARRT certification in either CT or Radiography is essential
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or the ability to obtain it within 90 days post-hire
Valuable Skills
- Expertise in diagnostic imaging policies and safety standards
- Strong communication abilities with patients and interdisciplinary team members
- Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced work environment and adapt promptly to shifting demands
- A keen eye for detail with a strong sense of responsibility
- Comfort and knowledge in imaging software such as PACS and RIS
