Member Team Lead

Position Summary Assists management with the supervision of associates in assigned area of responsibility by assigning duties to associates, communicating goals and feedback, training associates on processes and procedures, and providing direction and guidance on member service approaches and techniques to resolve complaints and issues in accordance with company guidelines and policies. Supports the Open Door Policy and participates in recruiting, hiring, scheduling, coaching, and evaluating associates. Communicates membership information, processes memberships, upgrades, and credit accounts, encourages renewals, and participates in sales and marketing events. Provides member service by acknowledging members, identifying their needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, and offering guidance on self‑service technology. Supports transactions utilizing registers or self‑checkout and ensures club pick‑up orders are fulfilled. Oversees assigned areas with claim handling, zoning, arranging merchandise, identifying shrink and damages, and maintaining availability of carts or flatbeds. Keeps the parking lot clean and utilizes cart retrieval equipment per policies. Completes accounting records and files transactions following office procedures, provides funds for register operation, and creates financial analysis reports. Investigates accounting-related inquiries, prepares daily deposits, oversees Cash Fund Transfers, and maintains confidentiality of financial and personal information. Develops and implements processes to meet business needs, collaborates with managers and partners, monitors progress, and identifies improvement opportunities. Supports compliance with policies, procedures, ethics, and integrity. Leads and participates in teams, shares resources, and adapts to change. The hourly wage range for this position is $22.00 to $30.00, and the actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the applicable minimum wage. Additional compensation may be provided through premiums ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Minimum Qualifications 6 months retail experience including front‑end equipment operation and 6 months customer service experience. Must be 18 years of age or older. Preferred Qualifications Experience leading a front‑end team and supervising hiring, evaluation, mentoring, and workload management.
