Senior Billing Specialist (NetSuite experience preferred) $60K - $75K Birmingham, AL (Hwy 280) Our growing client is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Billing Specialist to support customer billing operations and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records. This role is responsible for preparing and issuing invoices, validating billing data, resolving customer inquiries, and supporting month-end close activities. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment and possess strong analytical and organizational skills. Responsibilities Prepare and issue accurate customer invoices in a timely manner Validate billing data and supporting documentation Apply contractual billing terms and customer requirements Manage billing adjustments, corrections, and reconciliations Resolve customer billing inquiries and disputes professionally Maintain customer billing setup and contractual billing information Support internal departments with customer collections and billing efforts Perform billing quality assurance and reconciliation activities Assist with month-end billing close processes and reporting Produce billing reports and metrics for management review Support Accounting and Billing leadership with customer-level accuracy initiatives Assist with payment application and other accounting projects as needed Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of operational billing experience required Experience in a corporate accounting or finance environment preferred Strong knowledge of billing processes, systems, and management Bachelor’s degree preferred Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel Experience with billing processing software required NetSuite experience preferred Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills High attention to detail and documentation accuracy Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to learn internal systems and work collaboratively across departments #J-18808-Ljbffr
