Customer Service Representative - State Farm Agent Team Member

ROLE DESCRIPTION: This PART-TIME position is for a Customer Service Representative in support of a local State Farm Agency. The Agency is located at 112 W Harrison Ave, New Orleans, LA 70124. In-office hour requirements are 9 a.m.-3 p.m. (with a 30-minute lunch break) 5 days/week. Total weekly hours are 27.5 hours/week. This schedule can be flexible for the right candidate. The position requires you to have your Louisiana Property & Casualty insurance license. Having a Life & Health insurance license is a bonus! Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions and billing clarification. Use a customer‑focused, needs‑based review process to educate customers about insurance options. Use exemplary communication to efficiently meet the needs of customers while promoting the development of our business. QUALIFICATIONS: Dedicated to customer service Able to effectively relate to a customer, answer their questions, and anticipate their needs.
