About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to serve as the senior financial executive and lead the organization's financial strategy, planning, and long-term sustainability. The CFO will be responsible for executive financial leadership, including serving as the senior financial advisor to the CEO and executive team, and will play a key role in the hospital's mission to provide specialized, family-centered healthcare to children with complex medical conditions. This role requires a minimum of 10 years' progressive healthcare finance experience, with at least 5 years in a senior finance leadership position, and a strong background in hospital finance and healthcare reimbursement methodologies. Key responsibilities for the CFO at the company include financial planning and analysis, revenue cycle and reimbursement oversight, treasury and cash management, strategic financial management, and accounting and financial reporting oversight. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, with a Master's degree preferred, and a CPA designation is also preferred. Specialist knowledge and skills in healthcare financial management, budgeting, forecasting, and experience with pediatric, specialty, rehabilitation, or behavioral health hospitals are highly valued. The CFO will also be involved in leadership and team development, and must have a proven track record in executive communication, strategic planning, and change management.
